Untarnished
The fanlisting I run for the Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester fanlisting was one of the few fanlistings that hadn’t been given a layout in over a year. With the release of BBC’s Jane Eyre four-part miniseries, I thought it was high time I should redo the layout, which previous featured the William Hurt and Charlotte Gainsbourg movie adaptation.
Set against the dark and sombre setting of Thornfield hall, I wanted to keep that feel but add a sense of unlooked-for life and vibrancy, as well as an otherworldy feeling, both of which are important points in the novel for me. The result is a dark green layout with whimsical highlights.
